Features

Here are some awesome features on the Insta360 One X

Bullet Time: With this video capture feature we can create a high-speed clip and with the included accessory we can create this interesting and different point of view video with several image formats: 9:16, 1: 1, 4: 3 or 16: 9.

Super Slow Motion: The One X can capture video up to 3K at 100fps and thanks to the smartphone app and interpolation you can get figures of up to 3K to 400fps.

Drift Shot: Drift Shot is used with the official “dart” accessory so you can get amazing slow-mo effects as well as getting shoots in every direction at once. You’ve never seen angles like this before.

Time Shift: Timeshift is like the GoPro’s hyperlapse, to give a speed ramping effect. Control the speed for different parts of your clip on a whim. Slow it down to a halt, or speed it up to suit different parts of your scene, the app always keeps playback smooth.

HDR Video: The Insta One is the first action camera to support HDR video, it’s perfect for great landscapes, sunsets or sunrises, you can also manually tweak a whole bunch of image settings.

Natural View: Natural view is a feature that allows you to change the field of vision with the icon in the bottom left. It will switch from a fisheye view to a natural 90-degree FOV that you’d expect from a traditional camera.

Tiny Planet: Tiny planet is a popular effect to make the video look like a small planet with a 360-degree view. It can be easily exported to share on social media.

Should you buy it?

The Insta360 ONE X is definitely one of the best 360-degree cameras on the market today, thanks to its compact size, ability to record native 4K video, as well as its features included and many accessories you can buy to get an even better video.

A downside to this camera is the battery since it doesn’t last very long and we recommend to buy an extra battery so you can quickly change when it’s running out and charge up fast.

But being high-resolution 360-degree, with Full HD video from the camera’s and up to 5.7K in resolution, it is a camera you should check out if you are looking for a 360-degree high-end action camera. It is also great if you are using this camera for biking, hiking or other sports you want to record.
