Stabilization

The Victure AC900 comes with video stabilization (EIS), or electronic stabilization, which allows the shots to be seen with less movement and it helps you reduce the blurry effect caused by sudden movements. It has several shooting modes, such as continuous shooting, time-lapse, slow motion, and more.

If you want to record with a very smooth and stable recording we recommend getting a gimbal. The gimbal is the ultimate stabilizer of cameras. So when you are recording a video, it will be perfectly smooth. You can easily move and record without having to worry that the footage obtained will not be stable.

Battery

The Victure AC900 comes with 2 rechargeable Li-ion 1350mAh batteries, which can last about 180 minutes recording at 1080 Full HD and about 90 minutes at 4K/2.7K.

The battery is situated at the bottom, where there is a cover that gives access to the battery. You can also always buy separate batteries for it and change them whenever the first two run out.

Design

The Victure AC900 has an elegant modern design, it is well built with good quality plastics and it has a black color. Its design is similar to its predecessors such as the Victure AC800, it feels pretty durable and with the waterproof housing, it can go underwater up to 40m (130 feet). All attachments are sturdy and the waterproof case is made of high-quality plastic which makes its waterproof level up to 130 feet and protects the camera from damage in normal use.

The dimensions of the Victure AC900 are 5,7 x 4 x 2,8 cm and a weight of 720 grams, with a single button on the top, like most action cameras, which is used to take pictures and videos from it, but all the adjustments and controls will be made from the rear touch screen a 2-inch (5 cm) LCD touch screen.

On the front, we can see a tiny screen which tells you some useful information for example how much time you have been recording. As for its buttons, there are only 2, one on top, to start and stop recording or to take a picture and another in its front part, through which we will turn on and off the camera, the rest of the menus and settings we can change with the 2″ rear touch screen, which really gives this camera a spectacular design.

Photography

The photography on the Victure is pretty decent, it can capture with its Sony sensor up to 20MP pictures with a 16:9 changeable to 4:3 aspect ratio.

In bright sunlight, the colors look natural with the whole picture showing more contrast than the GoPro, the sharpness can be a little too high but it can be adjusted in the settings, the HDR isn’t great but does pretty well in good daylight light the quality overall is pretty good.

The Victure AC900 also does pretty well shooting underwater and it’s a great low-budget camera to have to get some simple shots when going diving or snorkeling.

The AC900 lets you change picture settings to get better results, here are some settings you have with this sports cam.

Video

The Victure AC900 can record videos at 4K/30fps, 2.7K/30fps, and 1080P/60FPS and some more video resolution, it records with real native 4K. It has decent image quality for being a medium-budget action camera, it uses a 170° super wide-angle as well as the ability to adjust the angle, and is able to provide videos and photos even in low light.

The configuration by default is well balanced, the images are sharp enough, the sky does not have the tendency classic towards a little the too blue and has overall pretty nice colors. But of course, being a medium-budget action camera don’t expect any amazing looking results, like GoPro Hero 8 can achieve (If you would like to check out our review click here).

  • and more settings.

The Victure AC900 records its videos in MP4 / H.264 (common codec for most cameras) or H.265 (new codec that allows greater video compression).

Should you buy it?

The Victure AC900 is a good quality GoPro alternative that you can get. It has some pretty good features and covers all of the basic needs of an action camera, for example, the ability to go underwater even though it needs its housing or slow-motion up to 240 fps with 720p.

The Victure has EIS stabilization and all the functions necessary to record high-quality videos, it also comes with an equipped 2-inch touch screen as well as coming with a very complete accessory kit. It is also compatible with most accessories like all of the GoPro accessories. The AC900 uses good Li-ion 1350mAh batteries, batteries which can last up to 180 min.

This sports action camera is a very good medium-end camera with affordable price, I recommend getting this camera if you’re looking for a good cheap quality-value action camera or maybe if you just want to update from an older version of Victure sports cam. Being a medium-budget action camera don’t expect to have GoPro quality or high-end brand quality. If you wanna check some other action cameras, medium and high-end click here!
