The DJI Mavic 3 Pro comes with top-of-the-line camera system that is sure to impress both professional and amateur photographers. Its tri-camera imaging system comes with a 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera with a 24mm format equivalent, a new 1/1.3-inch CMOS 70mm medium tele camera, and an upgraded 166mm tele camera. All three cameras support 4K/60fps video recording and offer exceptional professional-grade output.
The Hasselblad camera is widely regarded as one of the best cameras for aerial photography, producing stunningly sharp and vivid images. The camera sensor is four times larger than the Mavic 2 Pro, allowing it to capture more details and produce high-quality images even in low-light conditions. The camera also supports D-Log M and 10-bit color, making it perfect for color grading and post-processing.
The medium tele camera is another exciting addition to the Mavic 3 Pro’s camera system. It can zoom up to 3x allowing users to get closer to their subjects without having to physically move the drone. This feature is particularly useful when shooting wildlife, landscapes, or other hard-to-reach subjects.
The upgraded 166mm tele camera is the third camera in the Mavic 3 Pro’s tri-camera imaging system. It offers better zoom abilities than its predecessor, allowing users to capture subjects from even further away. While it may not be as versatile as the medium tele camera, it’s still an excellent choice for photographers and videographers who need to capture subjects from a distance.

Design
The Mavic 3 has an elegant modern design, it is well built with good quality plastics which feel pretty resistant, and it has a nice grey color similar to the standard Mavic 3. The Mavic 3 Pro can also be folded to be carried easier.
Its design is the classic quadcopter look with 4 propellers similar to most DJI drones, it feels pretty tough and can resist a bit of wind. If one of your propellers got damaged you can replace and switch them.
The dimensions of the Mavic 3 Pro when extended are 34.7 × 29 × 10.7 cm (13.6 x 11.4 x 4.2 in) when the drone is folded its size is 23 × 9.8 × 9.5 cm (9 x 3.8 x 3.7 in) and its weight is 958g (2.1 lbs).
The drone is equipped with eight vision sensors that work together with a vision computing engine to detect obstacles in all directions, including forwards, backward, upwards, downwards, and to the sides. This technology allows the drone to sense obstacles and adjust its flight path to avoid collisions, helping to prevent accidents and damage to the drone.
The Mavic 3 Pro comes with 4 replaceable propellers without any protection propellor guards, under the body we can see small landing legs, below we see the action camera mount with a gimbal holding it for stable videos.

The tap fly mode by trajectory or “Waypoint mode”, allows you to pre-program a sequence of actions by drawing a flight course in your app interface and the Fancool drone will follow.
My opinion
In conclusion, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro is an exceptional drone that offers a combination of cutting-edge technology, superior image quality to the standard Mavic 3, and many more great features. Its advanced camera system, 5.1K resolution, and improved sensor technology allow you to capture stunning professional-looking aerial footage and images.
The DJI Mavic 3 and DJI Mavic 3 Pro have some notable differences. Firstly, the Mavic 3 has two cameras: a Hasselblad camera and a 162mm tele camera, while the Mavic 3 Pro has three cameras: a Hasselblad camera, an upgraded 166mm tele camera, and a new 70mm tele camera. The Mavic 3 Pro’s three cameras all support 4K/60fps, while the Mavic 3’s cameras have slightly lower resolution capabilities.
In terms of weight, the Mavic 3 Pro is slightly heavier than the Mavic 3 due to the newly added medium tele camera. However, both models are still portable and can be easily carried in a backpack or travel bag.
Lastly, the Mavic 3 Pro comes with DJI RC, which has an integrated 5.5-inch HD display, while the Mavic 3 comes with DJI RC-N1. The integrated display on the DJI RC provides clear viewing even in direct sunlight and comes pre-installed with the DJI Fly app for streamlined aerial photography.
Overall, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro’s additional camera and improved resolution capabilities make it a better choice for professional-level creators who require more advanced and flexible shooting options.
