The design of the Ghost X action camera certainly has taken a different approach from its competitors. It isn’t like any popular action camera that you normally would see. The Ghost Drift X has an LCD simple screen. With the screen, you can adjust a wide range of settings, including frame rate, resolution, wifi connectivity, and more. It’s Water-resistant up to 40m waterproof housing available.

Battery
The battery on the Drift Ghost X is really good, it can last about 5 hours of battery life, and as of today, recording in 1080p 30fps, the battery life lasts up to 6 hours. The app can connect to the Ghost X (and other Drift cameras), creating the smart viewfinder that is so desperately missing from many other action cameras.
If you are willing to spend a little more and purchase the long-life battery module, the camera can last up to 8 hours. This means you can capture a whole day’s event without worrying about your battery going dead.

It has a few photo features, for example, a timelapse, and a burst shot.
Should you buy it?
The Drift Ghost X as you learned in this review is a great price-value camera with not costing a lot and still performing pretty well. It’s definitely a camera to take a look at if you ride on motorcycles or do sports like cycling, and It still has one of the best battery life out of all action cameras in today’s market.
The negative things are, the screen isn’t very big so it is a little hard to see sometimes and it could be larger, and sometimes it may freeze.
Being a cheap action camera even though it performs well don’t expect the same level of quality as high-end cameras like the GoPro HERO 8 (Check out our Review Here). If you would like to check out our best 10 GoPro alternatives blog check here!
